First Call for Proposals Program – Sustainability of Cultural Entrepreneurship
In Sancti Spíritus since 2018. This is a multifunctional artistic and cultural project, for the conduction of various artistic activities with a social and community focus. Likewise, it constitutes a space for dialogue for the meeting and exchange between artists and audiences with the aim of strengthening ties and promoting art.

Currently, the initiative has members organized in the responsibilities of General Direction, Artistic Direction, Event Management and Organization, Artists and associated personnel. Among the horizons of the project are the incorporation of art and culture into the daily life of the community, offering a space for local artists and providing the public with a place to interact with different creative products.

In this sense, Café Estudio Gato Negro has hosted various personal and collective exhibitions, talks, workshops and concerts with local, national and international bands. In this last respect, the alternative music event “Siete vidas” (“Seven lives”) stands out, which has made possible the presence of bands from Germany, Canada, New Zealand and, of course, Cuba.
