The first edition of the Entrepreneurship Week, organized by the British Embassy in Havana, OnCuba News and its division OnCuba Business, concluded on Tuesday with a networking space.
The event was attended by our general coordinator, Neida Peñalver, who presented to entrepreneurs and businessmen the work developed by the Fondo de Arte Joven (FAJ) during its first year of implementation.
The space was also useful for exchanging experiences with the participants and recognizing the contribution made by each venture to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as to generate connections that allow multiplying the impact of each initiative.
The agenda also included workshops to optimize the presentation of business proposals, small business incubation simulations, as well as collective consulting to align the business agenda with the SDGs.
This articulation between the business sector and culture in Cuba also means an open door to a strategic future of collaborations for FAJ, where new donors from state and private sectors, both on the island and abroad, interested in contributing resources to help co-finance our actions, providing them with greater possibilities of sustainability, may join us.
Consequently, we ensure the vitality of our communication strategy by legitimizing our platform as a repository of legitimate values to rest on in terms of corporate social responsibility.
