A partir de la colaboraci\u00f3n entre el Fondo de Arte Joven y la Fundaci\u00f3n Los Carbonell (Panam\u00e1) se cre\u00f3, en 2023, el concurso de artes visuales malaYerba<\/em>, enfocado en el apoyo a los procesos creativos de artistas cubanos, residentes en Cuba, con prop\u00f3sito de impulsar su actividad profesional, promover sus obras, y contribuir a la proyecci\u00f3n y consolidaci\u00f3n de sus carreras.<\/p>

Con frecuencia anual y car\u00e1cter nacional este concurso cont\u00f3 con dos ediciones gestionadas dentro de la plataforma, y la publicaci\u00f3n de un cat\u00e1logo impreso en 2025, con financiamiento del Fondo de Arte Joven.<\/p>

Fueron premiados 10 j\u00f3venes artistas visuales, de un total de 52 finalistas y 138 participantes de todo el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Abono para malas hierbas<\/em><\/p>

A veces se siente como estar a contracorriente. Todo en esta isla ocurre a un ritmo y de una manera que solo quienes la habitamos somos capaces de seguir o \u00bfentender? Habiendo tornado la incertidumbre en aliento diario, vamos descifrando pistas que nos permitan avanzar hasta un pr\u00f3ximo nivel que a\u00fan no vislumbramos.<\/p>

Pareciera que las nuevas generaciones heredamos los sue\u00f1os postergados. Pero el surrealismo debi\u00f3 haber nacido en medio del Caribe y no en Par\u00eds. De pronto, no sabemos c\u00f3mo, surgen proyectos, nuevas formas, reinvenciones. Al borde del asfalto hirviente por el sol de agosto hay algo verde, naciendo cada d\u00eda.<\/p>

As\u00ed se percibe una nueva edici\u00f3n de malaYerba<\/em>, concurso de artes visuales organizado en La Habana por el Fondo de Arte Joven y la Fundaci\u00f3n Los Carbonell, socio y gestor del perfil de artes visuales del proyecto. El contexto \u2013inherente al arte cubano contempor\u00e1neo\u2013 ha sido abono natural para un conjunto de obras seleccionadas como finalistas. Afloran nuevamente esa vocaci\u00f3n social y el h\u00e1lito tropol\u00f3gico que han definido la producci\u00f3n art\u00edstica en las \u00faltimas cuatro d\u00e9cadas.<\/p>

Estos noveles creadores identifican sus realidades m\u00e1s desgarradoras y las llevan a la pintura, la fotograf\u00eda, el video y la instalaci\u00f3n. Han aprendido a sortearse entre la precariedad; sus antecesores de profesi\u00f3n legaron herramientas para ello. Se saben deudores de temas y modos de hacer; no obstante, insisten, como quien tiene la certeza de que ya no hay nada que perder.<\/p>

Veintinueve j\u00f3venes artistas cubanos vuelven a romper el asfalto y parecen restituirnos algo de fe.<\/p>

As a result of the collaboration between the Fondo de Arte Joven and the Los Carbonell Foundation (Panama), the malaYerba visual arts competition was created in 2023, focused on supporting the creative processes of Cuban artists living in
