The talent of the young visual artist Daniel Ant\u00f3n Morera, Malayerba Grand Prize 2023, captivated the public attending the inauguration of his personal exhibition. \"Fog\"<\/a> this Thursday, March 28 at the White Room Gallery of the Fondo de Arte Joven (FAJ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the support of the FAJ, this talented visual artist produced the works of art that are exhibited in this space until next June, and that constitute a work built from the memory of the images and not from the physical reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the author, why not take the technical effect or flaw and paint it in an interpretation of your own? Build a studium<\/em> -as Barthes would say in photography-, and analyze the works as a kind of confrontation, where gestuality is recognizable as a tendency to expose the imperfect nature of a guild.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The works exhibited in Niebla<\/em> aim to evoke the pictorial language to understand the transience of the gaze, what exists beyond a perception towards a habitual entity. Above all, it is an analysis of the other in space, a displacement of these images towards the environment of painting, where the orientation of light and the atmosphere surrounding these characters are reconstructed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition not only reflects the exceptional talent of Daniel Ant\u00f3n, but also highlights the importance of supporting and promoting young art in today's cultural context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The artist is interested in art that is timeless and that is recognized in areas of the greatest possible uncertainty, in any space or in the combination of various qualities; in that sense, it is conducive for its reading to be like the particular experience of the viewer. The exhibition not only impacts the young audience interested in contemporary art, but also inspires new generations to develop their passion for art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This exhibition joins four others held by the FAJ since its founding in January 2023 by the Swiss Cooperation in Cuba (Cosude).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a cultural platform for the promotion of emerging Cuban art and the support of cultural enterprises that carry out their creative projects from Cuba, with an emphasis on the visual arts and music; the YAF brings together multiple donors and partners, such as the International Committee for the Development of Peoples (CISP), the Los Carbonell Foundation (FLC), the Habana Cl\u00e1sica Cultural Association (ACHC), and the Center for Exchange and Reference on Community Initiatives (CIERIC), with terms of reference included in the \"A Ritmo de Inclusi\u00f3n\" program, co-financed by the European Union (EU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
