{"id":8105,"date":"2024-09-19T18:31:12","date_gmt":"2024-09-19T22:31:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/artejoven.org\/?p=8105"},"modified":"2024-09-20T17:08:07","modified_gmt":"2024-09-20T21:08:07","slug":"fondo-de-arte-joven-and-unicef-cuba-call-for-the-first-edition-of-the-national-music-contest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/artejoven.org\/en\/fondo-de-arte-joven-y-unicef-cuba-convocan-a-la-primera-edicion-del-concurso-nacional-de-musica\/","title":{"rendered":"Fondo de Arte Joven and UNICEF Cuba call for the first edition of the National Music Contest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Fondo de Arte Joven (FAJ) and the United Nations Children's Fund in Cuba (UNICEF Cuba), are calling for the <strong>First Edition of the National Music Contest<\/strong>a unique opportunity for teenagers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The call is aimed at musicians in formal or informal training (artistic education or self-taught), of Cuban nationality, residing in Cuba, between 12 and 18 years of age, and will remain in force until October 15, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The teenagers will compete with a <strong>video<\/strong> where their performance, as a soloist, of one or more musical works of free choice is appreciated. Complete works, movements of works, new creations, songs, or improvisations apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The application is made through the online Application Form available on the FAJ website, in which they must also attach the documentation required by the platform and UNICEF Cuba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click here <a href=\"https:\/\/artejoven.org\/en\/calls\/\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a> to access the form<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The competition has three competition categories: <strong>Category A: 12-14 years old; Category B: 15-16 years old and Category C: 17-18 years old.<\/strong>. A total of <strong>three awards<\/strong>one for each of the above-mentioned categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prizes will consist of full funding (all expenses covered) for the participation of each winner (with an accompanying adult) in a week-long creative exchange program in Havana.
