Winner of the call for young Cuban designers and visual artists collaborating with the Youth Art Fund for the illustration of the book La dirección orquestal sinfónica y su expresión en Cuba (Symphonic Orchestral Conducting and its Expression in Cuba)
Giselle Lucía Navarro (Alquízar, 1995) is a graduate of Industrial Design from the University of Havana and a graduate of the Onelio Jorge Cardoso Literary Training Center.

She has directed the Silvestre de Balboa Literary Group and served as Professor of Literature at the Academy of Ethnography of the Canary Association of Cuba since 2013. Member of the Board of Directors of the Canary Association of Cuba and Member of Merit. She worked as a proofreader for the newspaper Trabajadores. Since the beginning of 2019, she has been leading the Da Igual gathering, dedicated to the promotion of poetry, trova and contemporary visual arts, at the Dulce María Loynaz Literary Center.

His literary work has won several awards including the 2019 David Poetry Prize awarded by the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba, Calendar Award (2023) for Children's Literature, for Un niño perfecto.

Winner of the call addressed to young Cuban designers and visual artists collaborating with the Fondo de Arte Joven for the illustration of the book La dirección orquestal sinfónica y su expresión en Cuba (Symphonic Orchestral Conducting and its Expression in Cuba), result of the research for the degree of Doctor in Sciences on Art by the Universidad de las Artes (ISA), by maestro Guido López-Gavilán (1944).

The Fondo de Arte Joven (FAJ) supports the project "La ensoñaciones del reposo" in the production of five abstract textile and fiber sculptures on metallic structures, which will allow the author to participate in the Havana Biennial. In addition to the accompaniment and methodological advice of the FAJ team.
