Who are we?

We are a multi-stakeholder and multi-disciplinary cultural platform that actively supports emerging artists and cultural entrepreneurs with concrete contributions (e.g. material or financial resources, training, networking, etc.).

We are an inclusive space for critical creation, reflection and debate, with a positive impact on the new generation of artists, entrepreneurs, institutions and cultural specialists from countries where the cultural sector faces particularly complex challenges.

We are also an original means of collaboration between countries of the Global South that share common challenges in supporting culture, with solid experience in organizing international academic residencies for young artists taking their first steps in the art world.

Mission

To stimulate and promote, on an international scale, creative processes of emerging artists and cultural enterprises from the Global South, offering them opportunities, knowledge, dissemination and infrastructure to move towards professional artistic development, with the purpose of contributing to equitable and inclusive access to culture as a vehicle for sustainable development.

Vision

We work to become the leading cultural platform to support emerging art, creating an inclusive and dynamic space where young artists and cultural entrepreneurs from the Global South can explore, experiment and express their creativity. Our vision is to foster an artistic ecosystem that not only celebrates the diversity of voices and styles, but also fosters the professional development of young creators through opportunities for visibility, training and collaboration. We believe in the transformative power of art and its ability to connect communities and inspire change.
Objectives

Objectives

To develop and promote, on an international scale, the work of emerging artists and cultural enterprises from the Global South, as well as their professional training.

Actions

We develop systematic programs of calls for proposals and awards, as well as activities to promote emerging art from countries of the Global South. In a single platform, we combine different incentives for young creators, such as the availability of exhibition spaces, support for the production of projects and creative processes, opportunities for academic mobility, provision of equipment, dissemination and professional support.

The modalities of collaboration are flexible, as are the contributions that operationally and financially support our system of calls for proposals. These may include awards, exhibitions in art spaces inside and outside Cuba, donations of musical instruments and technical equipment, national or international artistic residency programs, publications, academic mobility, promotion and other forms of support for creative processes and projects.

Consequently, we ensure the vitality of our communication strategy by legitimizing our platform as a repository of legitimate values to rest on in terms of corporate social responsibility.
