Winning project of the First Curatorial Call for Proposals
This initiative of the young visual artist María Karla González (Villa Clara, 2003) aims to generate artistic events taking the non-aesthetic as the basis of the artistic event. It is assumed from a relational approach to promote processes of participation, collaboration and collective creation, taking advantage of the city of Santa Clara as a laboratory. The works enhance an experience linked to the creative component of uncertainty. Relational, performative and installation works are combined as expressions of an aesthetic and artistic positioning in which actions are presented as a continuation. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

The Fondo de Arte Joven (FAJ) supports this project through the acquisition of materials and technical equipment for the development of these actions in the city of Santa Clara.

It is in our interest to establish co-financing agreements with entities that support operationally and/or financially, for example, specific calls for proposals. These specific actions managed by the Fondo de Arte Joven may have awards such as:

  • exhibitions in their respective art centers in Cuba and abroad.
  • donations of musical instruments and working materials for artists
