The music production laboratory and comprehensive professional practice for artistic leaders in Central Havana is a project driven by The House Productions, based in this municipality. The initiative proposes the implementation of a laboratory aimed at the training and professional development of artists, with the objective of strengthening the skills of local musicians, especially young people, through a model that integrates specialized training, circulation, and real-world practice of the music business.

The support of the Creative Zones Havana Center project, funded by Italian Cooperation and implemented by CISP and CIERIC, in collaboration with the Young Art Fund (FAJ), will allow for the incorporation of complementary technological equipment to activate the laboratory. Likewise, it will facilitate the expansion of services in its various business lines, aiming for the sustainability of La Casa Producciones. This will generate a positive impact on the sociocultural sphere of the territory through curated artistic programming, specialized professional training, access to contemporary music technology, artistic circulation, income generation, and new employment opportunities in Havana Center.

The call for applications Start with Music It was presented in February as a collaboration between Zonas Creativas Centro Habana and FAJ. It was aimed at entrepreneurial and cultural and creative initiatives, with a priority on the music sector, with the objective of fostering the creation and strengthening of projects, promoting cultural innovation and sustainability, as well as generating new professional opportunities for young people and women.
