Winner of the Second Call for Cultural Projects
Founded by a group of young filmmakers, the project aims to transform a former parking lot into an outdoor entertainment space. It is distinguished by the projection of films on the wall of a building, impacting the nighttime and cultural landscape of Havana's coastal area. It also revitalizes the old tradition of mobile movie theaters, and one of its lines of work consists of showing classic Cuban films.

The Fondo de Arte Joven (FAJ) supports this undertaking through the acquisition of the necessary technology for the projections. In addition, CIERIC specialists will provide methodological support and advice.

The modalities of collaboration are flexible, as are the contributions. It is in our interest to establish co-financing agreements with entities that support operationally and/or financially, for example, specific calls for proposals. These specific actions managed by the Fondo de Arte Joven may have awards such as:

  • exhibitions in their respective art centers in Cuba and abroad.
  • donations of musical instruments and working materials for artists
  • national and international art residencies
  • publications
  • academic experiences
  • promotion
  • support for creative processes
