Winning project of the First Curatorial Call for Proposals
The initiative, by young Abram Bravo (Matanzas, 1995) and Marialis Martinez (Matanzas, 1991), follows the trail of artists who work the sexual imaginary in different aspects of their production. From its name, inspired by Donna Summer's 1970s song of the same name, the exhibition is a tribute to the culture of the night, the objectification and fetishism in the sexual act and the human perception as a necessarily affective, carnal being.

The Fondo de Arte Joven (FAJ) supports the production and realization of this exhibition that makes visible the spatial and temporal confluence of several artists.

The modalities of collaboration are flexible, as are the contributions. It is in our interest to establish co-financing agreements with entities that support operationally and/or financially, for example, specific calls for proposals. These specific actions managed by the Fondo de Arte Joven may have awards such as:

  • exhibitions in their respective art centers in Cuba and abroad.
  • donations of musical instruments and working materials for artists
  • national and international art residencies
  • publications
  • academic experiences
  • promotion
  • support for creative processes
