Kadir Gonzalez (Villa Clara, 1997) is a Cuban music producer, composer, arranger, saxophonist, singer and keyboardist, graduated from the Havana University of the Arts (ISA), in the saxophone specialty (2021).

He has participated in the JazzPlaza International Festival (2020, 2022, 2023), in the Fiesta del Tambor Festival (2022, 2023), and was chosen to be part of the Showcase of the First Base Contest of the Havana World Music Festival. His work has received awards in various competitions, such as the First Prize of the Online Cuban Talents Competition (2020), Third Prize in the category of Minor Soloists of the JoJazz Competition (2018) and Second Prize in the Small Formats category of the JoJazz Competition (2018).

The Youth Art Fund supports the recording of the album Cambia de Color, which will feature ten songs written by Kadir Gonzalez that are a fusion of pop –the base genre of this album– with Cuban genres such as bolero, danzón, guajira and timba, and with foreign genres such as jazz, funk and R&B.
