Winner of the Second Call for Cultural Projects
Project designed by Guámpara Music to promote the development of vinyl culture as a musical and historiographic support in Cuba. It aims to hold workshops, theoretical events, creative meetings and a festival for young DJs in order to rescue and preserve the country's musical heritage.

The Fondo de Arte Joven (FAJ) supports this undertaking in the production of the first edition of the Havana RPM Vinyl Festival, the only one of its kind in Cuba, which aims to preserve the country's musical heritage through the development of vinyl culture as a sound and historiographic support. In addition to the accompaniment and methodological advice through CIERIC specialists.

The modalities of collaboration are flexible, as are the contributions. It is in our interest to establish co-financing agreements with entities that support operationally and/or financially, for example, specific calls for proposals. These specific actions managed by the Fondo de Arte Joven may have awards such as:

  • exhibitions in their respective art centers in Cuba and abroad.
  • donations of musical instruments and working materials for artists
  • national and international art residencies
  • publications
  • academic experiences
  • promotion
  • support for creative processes
