Integrated by lutenist Sofía Pedrera and guitarist Patricia Díaz, the duo Aguas de Marzo was created in 2018, to give credit to the musical relationship established between these instruments. It had as its context the University of the Arts, in confluence with exponents of other musical specialties and artistic manifestations.
Their first independent concert took place in the context of "P1_La Habana_Titón", at the Ludwig Foundation of Cuba in 2019. In addition, they have performed at the ninth and tenth edition of the ISA Festival of the Arts with the concert Guitarreando, held at the Casa del Alba Cultural, as well as the Chamber Music Concert developed at the May Hall of the Cuba Pavilion. Invited by the tresera Enid Rosales, they also participated in the festival of singers Ella y Yo.
The duo was recognized as the best artistic project of the 39th Graduation of the University of the Arts, and won the Pucho López performance scholarship of the Asociación Hermanos Saíz (AHS) in 2021. Likewise, in 2022 it won the El reino de este mundo creation grant, also from the AHS.
The Fondo de Arte Joven (FAJ) supports the production and filming of the concert Gaia - Live, which pays tribute to nature and life, which inspire the name of his first musical album. The repertoire will be composed of 11 songs specially created for them by Noel Gutiérrez. This concert will feature the participation of great guest musicians such as Mayquel González (trumpet), Yasel Muñoz (flute), Ernesto Robles (folk guitar), Olivia Rodríguez (double bass), and Jesús Estrada and Alejandro Aguiar (percussion). In addition, this project will be supported by the Orquesta de Cámara de La Habana, conducted by Daiana García, which will add a symphonic dimension to the performance.
