Harold Ramírez Veliz (Havana, 1997) is a 2018 graduate of the San Alejandro National Academy of Fine Arts and is currently studying visual arts at the University of the Arts (ISA). At the same time, he teaches at the San Alejandro Painting Department. His work encompasses drawing and installation. He has participated in more than thirty group exhibitions, including the last two editions of the Havana Biennial and the 8th and 9th editions of the "Post-it" Contest, organized by Galería Collage Habana. As for his personal exhibitions, among the most recent are Cruzando los brazos (2023) at the Centro Hispanoamericano de Cultura, Havana; Dos milímetros de menos (2021) at the University of the Arts (ISA), also in the capital, and Un puñado de polvo (2019), in the province of Mayabeque.
The Fondo de Arte Joven (FAJ) supports the project "La fatiga aumenta" in the production of the exhibition corresponding to the project, which will be the culmination of a series of drawings of abstract nature made in ink on cardboard that began in 2019 and has been exhibited in several spaces, but only in fragments, on this occasion the exhibition of the sample in its entirety will take place.
