Winning project of the Second Music Call for Proposals
Inspired by the band's beginnings in the spaces of jam session of the University of the Arts, Jazz for Youth is a project that seeks to bring together young jazz performers and representatives of the alternative music scene.

The Fondo de Arte Joven (FAJ) supports the realization of a concert at the theatre of the National Fine Arts Museum, and the filming of an audiovisual that will allow the presentation of young musicians to national and foreign audiences, as well as create a space for interaction and cooperation among this new generation.

The modalities of collaboration are flexible, as are the contributions. It is in our interest to establish co-financing agreements with entities that support operationally and/or financially, for example, specific calls for proposals. These specific actions managed by the Fondo de Arte Joven may have awards such as:

  • exhibitions in their respective art centers in Cuba and abroad.
  • donations of musical instruments and working materials for artists
  • national and international art residencies
  • publications
  • academic experiences
  • promotion
  • support for creative processes
