Winner of the Second Music Contest
Lianne Vega Serrano (Matanzas, 1988), graduated with a gold degree in music from the Universidad de las Artes de Cuba (ISA), specializing in piano. She has won awards at different levels of education, from provincial calls to international level: she received the First Prize and the Teresita Junco Prize for the interpretation of Cuban music of the nineteenth century, in the UNEAC Interpretation Competition (2014).

He has taken his music to important stages in the United States, Mexico, Indonesia and of course Cuba, playing with the Morelia Youth Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra, National Concert Band, Matanzas Symphony Orchestra, Camerata Romeu, Santiago de Cuba Symphony Orchestra, Eternal Music Orchestra, Havana String Orchestra, among other symphonic and chamber ensembles. Collaborating with important artists such as Jaya Suprana, Leo Brouwer, Zenaida Romeu, Guido López Gavilán, Daiana García, Juan Piñera, Frank Fernández, Pedro Luis Ferrer, Ulises Hernández, Patricio Malcolm, among others.

Together with the production company Casa Discográfica Colibrí, he has recorded piano music by composers Ernesto Oliva, José Gavilondo, Wilma Alba, Karlla Suárez, Cecilio Tieles, and Roberto Valera. Some of these productions have been nominated in the 2018, 2019 and 2020-2021 versions of the Cubadisco Competition. He has other CD's to his credit such as "Música de Salón del siglo XIX" and the DVD "The Suite Hemingway".

The Fondo de Arte Joven (FAJ) supports the project "Ecos Emergentes: Music by Young Cuban Composers," which seeks to visualize the piano output of young composers within the piano teaching and concert scene, as well as to highlight their creativity, innovation and musical sophistication. It also highlights the presence of women composers in the piano repertoire, giving visibility and recognition to their work.
