The Alma String Quartet was created in 2016 by Amaya Justiz, with the aim of promoting and performing classical and contemporary repertoire written for the format, as well as collaborating with different performers of concert music.
Alejandro (Coqui) Calzadilla (Leningrad, 1988) is a clarinetist, saxophonist, teacher, arranger and composer, graduated from the University of the Arts (ISA) with a Gold Degree in the chair of Maestro Vicente Monterrey (2012).
Dayron Ortiz (Havana, 1989) is an outstanding guitarist, composer, director and music producer graduated from the Amadeo Roldán Conservatory of Music in 2011, director and founder of the group La Tropa since 2021.
Victor Manuel Ojeda Collado (Mayabeque, 1990) graduated in the specialty of Painting from the Eduardo Abela Provincial Academy of Visual Arts in 2009 and in Conservation of Cultural Heritage, in 2020, from the University of the Arts (ISA).
