National Music Competition

Sponsored by FAJ and UNICEF Cuba, the initiative is aimed at musicians in formal or informal training (artistic education or self-taught), of Cuban nationality,
residents in Cuba, with the objective of promoting creative processes that favor the spiritual growth, creativity and expression of adolescents, as well as to generate a positive impact on artistic and professional training on the island.

The modalities of collaboration are flexible, as are the contributions. It is in our interest to establish co-financing agreements with entities that support operationally and/or financially, for example, specific calls for proposals. These specific actions managed by the Fondo de Arte Joven may have awards such as:

  • exhibitions in their respective art centers in Cuba and abroad.
  • donations of musical instruments and working materials for artists
  • national and international art residencies
  • publications
  • academic experiences
  • promotion
  • support for creative processes
