The Youth Art Fund (YAF) and the Los Carbonell Foundation (FLC) / NG Art Gallery, called for the first edition of malaYerba. youth art contest, with the aim of supporting the creative processes of Cuban visual artists.

This September 1st, a total of 65 applications and a hundred pieces were received, which will be evaluated transparently and impartially by a national and international Jury, with recognized prestige in the above-mentioned field.

Poster two years FAJ

The modalities of collaboration are flexible, as are the contributions. It is in our interest to establish co-financing agreements with entities that support operationally and/or financially, for example, specific calls for proposals. These specific actions managed by the Fondo de Arte Joven may have awards such as:

  • exhibitions in their respective art centers in Cuba and abroad.
  • donations of musical instruments and working materials for artists
  • national and international art residencies
  • publications
  • academic experiences
  • promotion
  • support for creative processes
